For Employees

For Employees

Perhaps you were screened during a job interview or are listed in the registry. That raises questions, and we understand why. On this page, you can take your time to read about what happens, what information is recorded, and what you can do yourself.

You'll always be kept informed

Will you be added to the registry? If so, you'll be notified. Registration never happens secretly behind your back.

No automatic judgment

Being registered doesn't mean you won't be able to find work anywhere. Employers always make their own decisions.

Your information is protected

Only authorized individuals within the affiliated companies have access to this information.

Transparent

What Is and Isn't Recorded

A record is created only after a report has been filed and a dismissal has taken place. This is based on facts, not on suspicions or opinions about you.

It has been recorded

  • That a police report has been filed against you
  • That you were fired for that reason
  • A General Overview of the Nature of the Incident
  • The date and duration of the registration

Not recorded

  • Suspicions Without a Report or Dismissal
  • A judgment about you as a person
  • Information that is medically or personally irrelevant
  • A registration that remains in effect indefinitely

Your Rights

What the GDPR Offers You

You have strong rights when it comes to your personal data. WLS is required to respect those rights and will help you exercise them if you wish to do so.

Right of Access

You have the right to ask whether any information about you has been recorded, what that information is, and who is authorized to access it.

Right to Correction

Is something wrong? If so, you can request that the information be corrected.

Right to Object

You can file an objection to a registration. WLS will carefully review it.

Right to Erasure

If a registration is invalid or has expired, it will be deleted.

FAQ

These are the questions employees ask most often

A participant (employer) consults the registry when a job applicant is identified. A participant (employer) can check in the WLS to see if the job applicant (the individual in question) has a record in the WLS. If there is a record, the participating party can contact the applicant’s “previous employer” and inquire about the reason for the entry in the WLS.

The police cannot enter a record.

No details are listed in the WLS. You will only see the “previous employer,” including contact information, listed in the WLS. To clarify, this information is only included if there is a report regarding the individual in question.

It is not clear what the reason for the dismissal is.

The WLS is specifically intended for all employees and officials working in logistics.
