Stichting WLS

Stichting WLS

Stichting WLS the Logistics Sector Warning Registry. We were founded by the industry itself as a nonprofit organization with a single goal in mind: to stay one step ahead of internal crime and keep the supply chain secure.

Our Motivation

Born out of a shared problem

Theft and fraud in the logistics industry often originate from within. When one company fires a perpetrator, that person sometimes ends up working for a competitor shortly afterward. Without information sharing, this cycle continues.

The industry associations therefore decided to join forces. The result is a registry that the sector collectively maintains and uses, within strict legal frameworks and always with a focus on people.

What We Stand For

Three Principles That Guide Everything

Safety First

We help companies identify risks early on, so that damage and suffering can be prevented.

Honest and thorough

Not a blacklist, but a warning. Each person involved will be notified and given the opportunity to respond.

Stronger Together

The registry works because of you. The more companies that participate, the greater the value for everyone.

Founders

The Founders of WLS

WLS is a joint initiative of the major industry associations in the transportation and logistics sectors. Together, they represent a large portion of the Dutch supply chain.

Why WLS Is Needed

The threat is shifting inward

Criminal networks seek out the weakest link in the chain. Increasingly, that link is an employee with access to cargo, data, or facilities. A company-specific approach is no longer enough to stop this.

Then

Crime mainly came from outside, near the fence and the gate.

Now

The weak link is on the inside, among people with access and trust.

Then

One of the perpetrators was fired and disappeared from the scene.

Now

Without a report, the certificate of conduct remains certificate of conduct , and the offender starts over elsewhere.

Then

Each company quietly resolved the incident on its own.

Now

What one company discovers protects the entire industry when it is shared.
